Registration has opened for the Maktab’s next academic year starting in September 2025. 

Key details with regards to the Kingswood Maktab

Kingswood Maktab has three provisions on offer:

• Qur’an and Islamic Studies (non-hifdh) – open to boys (5-18 years) and girls (5-10)
• Hifdh (memorisation of Whole Qur’an with Islamic Studies) – boys only
• Older Girls Club (Qur’an and Islamic Studies) – girls aged 12 and above*

• All students expected to attend Maktab five days a week – Monday to Friday.
• Our Maktab is open to boys and girls from the ages of 5 – 18 years old. We have dedicated separate boys and girls classes. 

• Non-hifdh classes last for 2 hours, hifdh classes for 3 hours 
• The class timings are 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm (non-hifdh) and 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm (hifdh).
• Our curriculum focuses on learning to read the Qur’an, Arabic handwriting, memorisation of Juz Amma, Islamic Studies and for hidfh class students – memorisation of the entire Qur’an.

Fees information

To confirm your child(ren)’s place at Kingswood Maktab for September 2025, fee payments must be set up.

· Hifdh Class:

Monthly (12 months): £75

· Girls (5-10 years) Mon-Fri Class:

· Boys (5-10 years) Mon-Fri Class:

· Girls (11+ years) Mon-Thu Club:

Sibling Discount – Our Commitment to Families

We are delighted to offer a discount for families with multiple children:

· 1st (oldest) child: Full fee

· 2nd child: £60 per month

· 3rd & 4th child: £35 per month (50% discount)

This means each lesson averages at just £4 per child, and with the discount, it can be as little as £2 per lesson – incredible value for a lifelong investment in your child’s Quranic journey.
